I forgot where I first read this. I'll just post the jist of it and you kiddies can investigate it for yourselves, if you wish.
The "Peace" symbol, known across the globe may actually be upside down. I invite you to examine the following and draw your own conclusions. I apologize in advance for the size contrast.
First, the traditional Peace Sign...
Now, let's flip that...
The true Peace sign may originally have looked as shown here. As you can see, it represents a human being, hands outstretched in joy and jubilation. What has been passed off as a "peace" sign for all these years is the inverse of this symbol. Inverted...as all Satanic symbols are.
Have we been had, yet again?
I don't know about you, but to me, just LOOKING at this sign elicits a pleasant sense of Upliftment. It has been hypothesized that the down-turned version of the Peace Sign actually CONTRIBUTED to the volatile nature of many peace rallies back in the '60's and early '70's. Those who study Symbology may have a point-of-view on this.
What do I think?
I am always sure to apply the following when examining accepted historical or factual information: "Upside-Down and Backwards". Our World is Upside-Down and Backwards. Take what's been fed to you as Fact, Reverse it and you will have the Truth.
All Love,
~~ G

Hi there
In a sense the peace sign is upside down, but in the current "agreed" meaning in our culture, it is not and just try to turn it around and people will object. I found this site that perfectly describes my musings on the peace sign.

I particularly liked this one.
Was the man high as a kite, or does he suffer from some form of twisted perception?
Quote:
[Holtom] later wrote to Hugh Brock, editor of Peace News, explaining the genesis of his idea in greater, more personal depth: “I was in despair. Deep despair. I drew myself the representative of an individual in despair, with hands palm outstretched outwards and downwards in the manner of Goya’s peasant before the firing squad. I formalised the drawing into a line and put a circle round it.”
When I read about Gerald Holtom’s reference to the peasant in Goya’s painting, something struck me as odd. Here is “Third of May” - the painting that Holtom credits with his inspired design. Notice the white-shirted fellow on the left, facing the firing squad. The man’s arm positions are upward and outstretched, not downward. Keep that in mind. We’ll return to Goya’s image in a moment.

Wow. Un-frickin-believable.
I guess Holtom's use of the phrase "in the manner of" means "totally opposite of"??? Unless he's referring to the poor dead guy on the lower left, someone has twisted the truth.
Great comment, mabung. Thanks for posting the painting!
Curiouser and curiouser...
